My 3rd gre...What an interesting way to approach it! My 3rd great grandparents were widely scattered around. With the exception of the two couples from the same remote region of Scotland (Caithness), none of them was born in the same community. I'd love to have a few primary places to focus on, but only have that when I get a few generations farther back. Only a handful of my 3rd ggs died in the community where they were born. Of the 27 whose birthplaces I know, there are 23 different places in 4 countries, 2 counties in Northern Ireland, 4 counties in England, and 6 states in the US.
